Impulse Station brings together advanced conversion tools — units, grades, statistics, chemistry, finance and more — designed for students, teachers and anyone who needs a fast, reliable result without installing any software.
Most online converters require you to upload your files or data to a remote server. Here, all processing happens directly in your browser: your documents and data never leave your computer.
Each station module is a standalone page dedicated to a specific conversion. You enter your data or drop your files, the calculation or conversion runs locally using JavaScript libraries executed in your browser, and the result is displayed or downloaded in one click.
For complex document formats (rich Word or PowerPoint layouts, for example), the content is extracted and reformatted in a simplified way; the original formatting isn't always reproduced exactly.
Impulse Station is an independent project, published from Geneva by Alexandre Gertsch in a personal capacity, under the name "Impulse Orbit". It is not a company: one person designs and maintains the tools.
The tools are free and will stay that way. The site is funded by displaying ads (Google AdSense). These ads never use the content of your calculations or your files, which never leave your browser; the advertising cookies are described in the privacy policy.
